APS 4 Planner$43.82 / Hourly / Ex SuperDeakin, ACT12-month contract (possible extension)About the clientOne of our largest clients is now seeking multiple APS 4 Planners to join their fast-growing team of talented individuals offering an attractive pay in Deakin.About the roleThe APS4 Planner is a team membership position that will work within defined parameters relating to the team's area of responsibility. The role requires the application of well-established policy, principles, practices, and procedures to achieve outcomes that support and contribute to the agency.The position provides operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in service delivery areas and undertakes some research and analysis activities. The APS4 Planner will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of service delivery matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.DutiesGathering information from participants and planning partners over the phone or in person, to enable high-quality planning and evidence-based decision-making.Using a range of policies, practice guidance, and legislation to make funding decisions in relation to participant plans to complement informal, community, and mainstream supports.Working closely with participants and their representatives to identify current and future supports, and informal, mainstream, and community support options to achieve plan outcomes.Liaising with key stakeholders including Partners in the Community to deliver services to participants.Resolving issues and complaints in relation to participant plans.Completing administrative and data entry tasks relating to participants.Contributing to the achievement of key performance indicators, including planning targets.Key skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsData analytical skillsTime managementAbility to manage multiple participant recordsApplication RequirementsApplicants must hold Australian citizenship.National Criminal History Records Check and completion of the Agency's screening checks.Applications close 09/07/24If you feel you are a suitable candidate, submit your application by hitting 'Apply for this job'.
