Our client is a community-focused Federal Government Agency. They have an exciting opportunity available for an APS4 Operations Officer to assist the Aged Care & Hospital Interface Branch with ensuring the servicing of several specialised cohorts of participants, including participants living in or at risk of entering aged care under 65 years old.
10-month initial hourly rate contract with the strong view for extension offering an APS4 hourly rate of $43.82 + Super, to be based out of our client's Geelong office.
This will sit within a Hybrid work environment.
About the role The role will provide operational and administrative support that is informed and directed by sound knowledge in service delivery areas and may undertake some research and analysis activities.
The APS4 Operations Officer will have a considerable level of contact with internal and external stakeholders and will be required to communicate with and provide advice on a range of matters to resolve moderately complex enquiries.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to: Undertaking project coordination activities including related administrative tasks and functions. Leading and contributing to the implementation of process improvement initiatives. Providing secretariat support, including the coordination of speakers and key messages, agendas, minute taking, and scribing. Managing, collating, interpreting, and analysing data to produce reports and dashboards that inform strategic and operational planning. Contributing to the Innovation portfolio and the methodology to progress ideas across key decision-making bodies, supporting NSW and ACT Innovation members, Subject Matter Experts, and associated stakeholders. Monitoring and actioning correspondence, assigning and actioning internal work items within service standards. Assisting with mandatory training requests and arrangements as required. Australian Citizenship is a requirement to be eligible for this position. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to engage with multiple stakeholders. Organisation and time management. Experience in the disability, health, or aged care sectors. Advanced Excel skills and experience working with spreadsheets. APPLY
