Reporting to the Commercial Manager and based at the new 'state of the art' Lakeside Visitor Centre, Emerald, Puffing Billy Railway have an exciting opportunity for a talented and experienced Front of House Supervisor to join the team. You will work with the current full-time FOH Manager to offer coverage across 7 days. This is a part-time role offering 7 days per fortnight.
This position will involve regular weekend work with mainly day shifts; however, some evening shifts will be required according to business needs and meetings and events. Reclaim your evenings! SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE 2+ years of experience in a supervisory role within the café/restaurant industry Able to train and supervise Front of House team members Excellent communication, leadership and problem-solving skills Must have barista experience and strong coffee knowledge A passion for great guest service A keen focus on processes, compliance & ensuring quality every time Ability to work on a 7 days rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays and early morning shifts Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate Experience in the supervision of Meetings and Events will be highly regarded You will also have access to great benefits that only Puffing Billy Railway can provide!
