Job Description Contract until 30 June 2024| Canberra Location | $45.39 per hour plus 11% superannuation OVERVIEW Our Federal Government client is currently seeking an experienced Customer Service Officer to join their team at the APS4 level. Within this role you will be part of the customer service team responsible for supporting grants administration within the department for a variety of stakeholders. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES Work individually and as part of a team to respond to phone and email enquiries from a diverse range of stakeholders. Handle enquiries in a professional and considerate manner. Troubleshoot issues using standard responses, task cards, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and support documentation, escalating as required and monitoring the progress through to resolution. Accurately record information in the job management system. Participate in learning and development opportunities. Maintain a level of comfort around basic technology including the Microsoft suite other grant related systems. Participate in business improvement initiatives and other projects. EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS Well-rounded communication and customer service skills. Ability to follow standard operating procedures. Communicates in a positive and inclusive manner, willingly sharing personal views and ideas. Ability to learn and utilise multiple programs and systems with an understanding of the Microsoft Office suite.
