The Approved Accounts section is made up of approx. 60 staff responsible for payment of Rehabilitation and Compensation invoices across the Veterans' Entitlements Act, Safety Rehabilitation and Compensation Act, and Military Rehabilitation and Compensation Act. Our team is a skilled and diverse group dedicated to continuous improvement and the provision of subject matter expertise. We rely on each other's knowledge and strengths to ensure high quality and timely advice is provided, achieving customer-focused results.
We operate an 1800 call line for accounts-related queries with staff rostered from 8:30 am to 5 pm each weekday. We work collectively and in conjunction with other sections across DVA to ensure financial management and compliance requirements are met.

Where a non-ongoing position is offered, the role will be filled for an initial specified term of up to 23 months.
A merit pool of suitable applicants may be created which may be used to fill future ongoing and non-ongoing vacancies should they become available over the next 18 months.
Successful applicants engaged into the APS will be subject to a probation period.
