Our client is seeking to engage an APS3 Client Service Officer Location: Adelaide, SA Employment: Start – ASAP, End – 24/12/2024, with option to extend up to 12 months Eligibility/Security Requirement: Australian Citizenship DUTY STATEMENT In accordance with the principles of workplace diversity, Work Health & Safety, participative work practices and APS values: Provide a direct service to clients, including the Agency's community and providers to support the delivery of Medical and Allied Health Services.
This will include: answering telephone queries from contracted health providers (scheduled call centre environment phone queues) processing requests for treatment and exercising delegations where appropriate preparing correspondence entering data checking eligibility for treatment liaising with internal Agency staff Manage own workload, keep records and report on work as appropriate.
Contribute to team goals and work practices and monitor own performance against team goals.
This may include attending and contributing to team meeting.
Continually review work methods and identify opportunities to improve practices and procedures Provide support to the leadership group as required.
