Salary: $67,707 - $73,077
About the Role The APS3 Business and Operations Support Officer (BSO) contributes to the development, planning and production of business outputs and outcomes.
The BSO is primarily engaged with a range of administrative, exhibits management, stocktakes, data interrogation, basic research and less complex analysis work involving the appropriate collection of information of a diverse nature across the intelligence, business and operational aspects of any state office of the ACIC.
The BSO works closely with operational teams, taskforces, investigators, intelligence practitioners, administrative staff, Executive members and external partner and provider agencies to ensure that office operational outputs are supporting the ACIC.
Our Ideal Candidate To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following experience, skills and attributes:
Sound organisational skills to prioritise tasks and produce timely outcomes. Have experience in business and/or customer service, including the ability to problem solve. An ability to source and manage information and provide advice to stakeholders including the ability to maintain effective record keeping. Good oral and written communication skills, and interpersonal and team skills, including a demonstrated ability to share information and learning to benefit the team. Demonstrated competency in a range of information and communication technology (ICT) systems (including the Microsoft Office suite) and have the ability to learn new ICT systems and processes as required. Ability and willingness to work flexibly across a number of functional portfolios when required. Eligibility Citizenship: To be eligible for employment with the ACIC, applicants must be an Australian citizen.
Security Clearance: The Australian community expects ACIC employees to maintain the highest levels of security and integrity.
Successful applicants will be required to obtain and maintain a minimum Negative Vetting 1 security clearance.
Pre-Employment Screening: All candidates must satisfy an Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to being offered employment at the ACIC.
