Appsec Engineer

We are seeking a talented and experienced AppSec Engineer. As an AppSec Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our applications and systems.
Responsibilities: Conduct application security assessments and analyze vulnerabilities, Develop and implement secure coding practices and guidelines, Collaborate with software development teams to integrate security best practices into the SDLC, Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, Perform regular security audits and risk assessments of applications and systems, Stay up-to-date with the latest AppSec trends and technologies, Provide training and support to development teams on secure coding practices, Work with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with security standards. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field, Proven experience as an AppSec Engineer or related role, Strong knowledge of application security best practices and frameworks, Experience with manual and automated penetration testing techniques, Knowledge of secure coding practices and common vulnerabilities, Experience with web application security tools such as Burp Suite or OWASP ZAP, Ability to analyze and interpret complex data and make informed decisions, Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, Relevant certifications such as CISSP or CSSLP are preferred but not required. in Java/JavaScript/.NET/Python programming languages and respective package, managers to provide effective remediation advice for developers.
