About the Role: We are looking for a motivated young person ready to start their career in a unique niche trade with an iconic, sustainable Australian company.
As part of the Capral team, you will gain hands-on experience in preparing, inspecting, and maintaining our specialised extrusion die library.
This is an excellent opportunity for school leavers to develop valuable skills in a distinctive field and grow within a dynamic environment.
WHAT'S ON OFFER: Full time role & competitive salary a range of amazing employee benefits inclusive of paid parental leave a friendly and supportive team environment TAFE & on the job training Training in the use of various tools and machinery used to correct extrusion dies Training in the techniques used to correct extrusion dies & the variables affecting die performance Applying knowledge and skill to the correction of non-conforming extrusion dies Gaining a sound understanding of die design and manufacture Communicating with die manufacturers Evaluating die life and die performance To be considered for this position you MUST: Be motivated & willing to learn Have excellent problem solving and analytical skills Have sound PC skills Demonstrate pride & ownership in you work.
Have an eye for detail & improvement Understand and comply with Occupational Health and Safety Standards.
Good communication skills.
Work well as part of a team Applicants must also be prepared to undertake and pass a pre-employment medical inclusive of drug and alcohol test.
