Location: Dubbo + Mudgee, NSW
We're looking for two ambitious and committed apprentice spray painters (one for our Dubbo workshop and one for our Mudgee workshop) who are searching for an opportunity to gain technical skills and pave a concrete career in smash repairs. As part of your Leven Smash Repairs Spray Painting Apprenticeship, you will learn how to prep panels for painting, colour match paints by eye or using computer technology, mix paints, use modern spray painting equipment and spray processes, understand the blends and multi-layered formulations in modern paints, create special effects with paint and finishes, mask glass and other areas before paint application, clean a vehicle to be painted, apply coats of primer, clean and maintain spray equipment, as well as buff and polish vehicle painted surfaces.
With state-of-the-art facilities and over 100 combined years of experience to learn from, you'll get to work with the latest smash repairs technologies, making sure you're at the top of your game when you become fully qualified on a national level. No prior industry experience is required, however, an interest in automotives and a true passion for high quality workmanship is a must. Through mentorship and 1:1 training and coaching, you'll be encouraged to ask questions, offer informed opinions as well as map out your career trajectory.
At Leven Smash Repairs, we hire on our company values. This means we will be spending time in the application phase to really see if you can demonstrate committed and hungry behaviour, willingness to change, respect for yourself and others, and the ability to be humble when necessary.
