An opportunity has become available for an enthusiastic, mechanically minded person to join our team as an Apprentice Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, working in our busy workshop in the Gateshead NSW area. This position offers the opportunity to learn a trade and skill set to become a competent Heavy Vehicle Mechanic. You will gain a wealth of knowledge in hydraulic systems, electrical systems, fabrication, and heavy vehicle systems.

A strong interest in the mechanical field Good communication and organisational skills The ability to work afternoon shift on a rotational roster basis, if required. This position will involve attending trade school at block intervals. A current driver's licence and own transport are desirable.
In accordance with our Company's recruitment process, all successful applicants will be required to undergo a Pre-employment Medical, which includes a drug test. A current driving history, with a good driving record, will also need to be provided.
