This structured and comprehensive apprenticeship combines hands-on experience with formal training to gain a Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade.
Work alongside highly skilled professionals in a modern well equipped workshop with a positive team culture!
Duties may include but not limited to: Fabricating, assembling, repairing and maintaining various equipment and machinery Operating equipment such as lathes, mills and drilling / welding equipment Performing engineering measurements Interacting with computing technology Using hand and power tools Performing fault diagnostics Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria: Be able to demonstrate strong mathematical ability Have a strong attention to detail Highly motivated with effective learning and communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work in a team environment and follow instructions Have a basic understanding of hand power tool operations Have fault finding and problem solving abilities Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual Cert II in Engineering Pathways an advantage Reliable transport to work, car and licence preferred Benefits: Award wages (paid fortnightly) + Super + Holiday Leave Loading + Allowances.
Full Time employment/contract, 38+ hours per week.
Paid TAFE block periods + Work shirts provided + Safety Equipment.
Upon completion: Certificate III in Engineering Fabrication (Boilermaking/Welding) Long-term career prospects for the right candidate.
