Apprenticeship – Electrical UGL Industrials & Resources are excited to bring to the market an apprenticeship opportunity in the Electrical stream based at Collie in WA, you will be learning your trade in a heavy industrial facility which will give you exposure to a broad range of learning and trade-based skills. This opportunity will see you join a highly experienced team with a reputation for delivery, working together for our customers to develop and provide solutions. To be considered for the role, ideally you will possess the following attributes: · Demonstrate a willingness to learn and successfully complete a 4-year apprenticeship · Be ready to study and commit yourself to the required training · Have strong communication skills, listen to instructions, and ask questions where necessary In addition to the above attributes, the following qualifications and experience would be highly regarded: · Construction Industry Induction (white card) · Driver's Licence and the ability to make your way to and from site · Previous completion of career pathway training such as Cert II in an Engineering or Technology field would be highly regarded · Math Methods or Specialist Mathematics pass grade essential · STEM subjects – Physics or Chemistry pass grade highly regarded Please include in your application the following: · Up to date resume – outlining your experience, schooling, work experience · Written reference outlining your work ethic and ability to work in a team environment (this could be a previous employer, work experience host, sporting group or volunteer work) Shortlisted candidates will be contacted to attend a written aptitude test which will then be followed by formal interviews.
