About the Role: Within a friendly team environment, you will assist with installation, repairs, maintenance and modification of electrical equipment including electric motors, industrial instrumentation, installations and commercial/domestic repairs. As an Apprentice Electrical and Instrumentation, under supervision, undertake a range of electrical tasks in a safe, efficient and effective manner as part of on-the-job training required of the Apprentice Electrical and Instrumentation.
You will receive ongoing support throughout your apprenticeship from highly experienced and qualified individuals within the field. This position has clear expectations to role model the performance standards, values, behaviours, and attitudes that are integral to our workplace culture and stakeholder reputation as an organisation of excellence.
About You To be successful in this role you must enjoy practical and manual activities and can work for extended periods outdoors. You will work methodically and accurately, have good oral and written communication skills, and follow instructions precisely and have a strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist. You must be able to work individually and as part of a team whilst taking pride in quality of your work and following health and safety workplace requirements and upholding Council values.
