Reporting directly to the Maintenance Leading Hand, you will be trained to perform the following responsibilities:
Working through mandatory and elective units to achieve Certificate III Engineering-Fabrication Trade Adhere to principles, systems & processes of OHS & Food Quality Standards Operate within a team environment Interact with IT systems & technology Perform engineering measurements & calculations Proactive, preventative, and reactive maintenance Use & interpret detailed drawings or specifications to identify job, material and equipment requirements Welding – including TIG for stainless steel Maintain a clean workplace in compliance with quality and safety processes About You
You will bring the following skills, experience, and attributes to the role:
Minimum Completion of Year 11, with an aptitude for technical/mechanical work or relevant Pre-vocation course A team player, trustworthy, and has a good work ethic A quick learner, willing to listen and learn from the experience of others Strong ongoing commitment to workplace health & safety A current Driver's license Ability to communicate professionally in writing and verbally Basic skill in the use and maintenance of hand and power tools Basic computer skills including data entry and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite Commitment to study and completion of Certificate III in Engineering Trades Ability and willingness to travel to Adelaide for block release study Want to Know More?
