Application Support Specialist

Talenza's have been engaged by an ASX listed manufacturing client to find a Brisbane based Application Support Specialist for a long-term contracting role. The role requires a strong understanding of SQL databases, modern programming languages and strong skills with application integrations and migrations.

Essential Requirements 5+ years experience in a modern compiled programming language, ideally with .NET or Javascript. 5+ years in a software developer or application technology focused Strong SQL database understanding with the ability to write complex queries. An understanding of legacy applications built in visual basic (desirable). Experience troubleshooting and maintaining applications. Experience migrating applications onto new platforms. Experience working with modern technologies including API servers. Experience in industries including; industrial, heavy industries, mining, manufacturing are highly desirable.
