About the roleThis role supports the delivery of the City of Hobart's digital transformation projects through technical development of business systems via industry standard platforms.
Key Responsibilities include: Under the direction of a technical lead and project manager, work within a project team to assist in delivering solutions that meet end user requirements.Under supervision and direction:Undertake technical development and testing of SharePoint Online, PowerPlatform and Azure Integration solutions in test/development environments;Promote approved developments and configurations to their production environment, including application update and patch management, using approved Change Management Protocols;Test, diagnose and resolve issues/defects/bugs; andWork with end users in designing and testing solutions.Join our innovative team as an Application Developer and work on cutting-edge projects that shape the future of technology.

Essential Qualifications Bachelor Degree or higher in Information Technology.Current Registration to Work with Vulnerable People.Current Driver Licence.Essential Skills Basic understanding of contemporary integration tools, standards and protocols such as REST, JSON, RAML, ODATA along with related technologies such as Azure Git Source Control, Azure DevOps.Structured programming and debugging in Python and C#.Scrum task story board processes using Microsoft Azure DevOps.Microsoft Azure deployment, navigation and debugging.Microsoft PowerAutomate and PowerApps.Microsoft SharePoint Online, PowerPlatform and 365 platform administration.You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy dynamic applications that meet our high standards of performance and reliability.
