You will: Lead the design process for Apparel and Accessories from initial concept through to finalised samples, ensuring the product is relevant to the Australian and International market needs.Collaborate with the design team to identify, interpret, and develop key trends aligned with the handwriting of the brand that will drive sales in both retail and wholesale.Develop commercial product designs and range building that is on trend, adhering to the option plan and price architecture requirements.Create relevant CAD drawings and design sheets to brief product development and sourcing on designs.Partner with the textile designers to interpret swim prints and colours for apparel – managing the selection, briefings, set up for strike off, lab dips and approvals.Lead apparel and accessories component of range review presentations to cross-functional team to align on: concept, trend, colour, print; new and on-going shapes; costings; and final sign off.Range plan management and maintenance of key standards on fit and quality.Support the sales team with product knowledge and presentations for internal meetings and customer showings.You have: Extensive experience as a fashion designer, particularly in apparel.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.The ability to travel for design inspiration, customer research and competitor reference samples.Adobe illustrator, Photoshop, and Microsoft Excel skills.Strong time management skills, ability to work to deadlines.The ability to analyse trends and translate into brand aligned commercial styles.The drive to innovate and create designs that will drive sales in stores.The ability to take on design feedback and be agile to change direction when needed.We offer: Generous employee discounts on Seafolly & JETS productPriority access to Seafolly & JETS sample salesLocated in Alexandria, enjoy the various surrounding amenities including Sydney's best coffee & gardens at The Grounds of Alexandria!Bonus day off on your birthdayPaid Parental LeaveIf you're passionate about fashion design and want to be part of an iconic Australian brand with ambitious vision and growth plans, we want to hear from you - apply now.
