About the Role: Join a leading retail company as an Accounts Payable Officer on an initial 3-month contract and support the efficient management of accounts payable processes.
Based in Brisbane's eastern suburbs, this role offers a great opportunity to contribute to a high-performing finance team within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities: In this role, you will be responsible for: Processing and reconciling supplier invoices and payments accurately and on time.
Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures for accounts payable.
Assisting with month-end processes, including reconciliations and reporting, whilst maintaining accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to enhance accounts payable processes.
About You: To succeed in this role, you will bring: Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar finance role.
Proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
A proactive and team-oriented approach to work.
