We are seeking a responsible, hands-on, and customer-focused manager or couple to join our team at one of our busy motels in Goulburn, NSW.
The position includes a manager residence with 2-bedroom units provided.
The motel features 28 comfortable and clean rooms, along with some cabins.
While linen is outsourced, towels and pillowcases are washed on-site by managers.
We have a good cleaning staff in place.
The lovely garden and grounds require attention; the manager needs to be hands-on with gardening and repair/maintenance.
Note that there is no pool or restaurant on-site, but we do serve hot and continental breakfast in the rooms.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Overseeing daily operations of the motel, including check-in and check-out procedures, housekeeping, maintenance, and staff management.
Ensuring a high level of customer service and satisfaction.
Managing budgets, financial reporting, and bookkeeping.
Developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and security throughout the property.
The ideal candidate(s) will possess the following skills and qualifications:
Previous experience in motel or hotel management.
Hands-on skills are a must; general maintenance and gardening skills are required.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Strong financial and budgeting skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Basic computer skills, including knowledge of property management systems.

The compensation is $300-350 + GST per day, plus an annual bonus based on experience and revenue performance.

A preferred manager should have their own ACN/ABN or be on a full-time role package.
Start: ASAP for a 6-month or 12-month contract or longer.
