Nana Muru is a day-based mobile Drug and Alcohol rehabilitation and withdrawal program.
The serviceincorporates both day programs and withdrawal support, using a blend of place-based service delivery and mobile outreach.

Your opportunity As an Alcohol and other Drugs/ Mental Health/ Trauma Specialist you you'll engage and support your clients in their ongoing management, counselling and treatment of AOD dependency and other associated factors.
You'll advocate for them, celebrate with them when they achieve their goals, and help to develop their capacity and confidence.
This role includes travelling to different locations around the Shoalhaven area, travelling to different work sites and working with complex clients.
Some additional duties include: Provide high quality engagement, assessment, counselling, case management and support services to clients, and their families.
Manage a case load of clients, through providing support, service coordination, referral and advocacy to assist in achieving their goals.
Provide pre- and post-rehabilitation support and relapse prevention planning Advocacy and strong stakeholder relationships with mental health services and referral pathways This is an ongoing, part time position, working 24 hours per week.
Hours of work and days can be negotiated.

What you'll bring We are looking for a superstar Clinician who is able to manage their day to day duties with limited supervision, and who thrives on being out and about in the community - you enjoy attending stakeholder events, and have a passion for building and fostering positive relationships with our stakeholders.
Reporting to the Team Leader, the role will work to ensure that clients' needs are addressed in a holistic manner, to achieve optimal recovery and health outcomes.
You will be part of a small, passionate and dedicated team of likeminded professionals.

To succeed in this role, there are some essentials you'll need: Tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work, Psychology or allied health (or similar field) Demonstrated experience working with clients with complex needs, AOD dependencies and/or mental health Contemporary knowledge and application of evidence-based individual and group interventions and clinical practice in drug and alcohol treatment and recovery Experience working in a rehabilitation, withdrawal or related service delivery setting highly desirable This role is based in the Bay and Basin, close to many popular natural and cultural features of the Shoalhaven and Southern Highlands and a 2-hour drive to Sydney.
