Job Title: Senior Project Manager (AO8) Location: Cannon Hill (Flexible Locations Considered) Duration: 6 Months with Possible Extension About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our SEQ Capital Works team.
In this role, you'll oversee the planning, management, and delivery of building construction and upgrade projects on behalf of our clients.
Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Project Management: Develop and manage project plans, including risk management, procurement strategies, and life-cycle considerations.
Ensure projects meet all design, statutory, and value-for-money requirements.
Consultant Management: Prepare briefs, terms of reference, and tender documents for consultants.
Oversee consultant deliverables to ensure they align with project objectives.
Contractor Management: Prepare tender documents for both traditional and non-traditional contracts.
Act as the Principal's Representative and Contract Superintendent, ensuring compliance with Australian standards and contract law.
Oversee project commissioning, handover, and maintenance requirements.
Professional Expertise: Bring significant client-side project management experience in building construction or upgrades.
Utilize your educational background in building construction.
Communication & Business Acumen: Effectively manage stakeholders and communicate project progress.
Ensure project targets for time, cost, quality, and client satisfaction are met.
Maintain accurate project management records and pursue process improvements.
Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, both internal and external.
Provide guidance and support to project managers reporting to you.
Qualifications & Experience Extensive experience in client-side project management within the building construction industry.
Strong understanding of project management processes, contract law, and Australian tendering standards.
Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
