You will assist in providing services and support to the Deputy Director-General, related executive and senior management within a division or divisions of the department. Your ability to navigate complex environments, understand areas of political sensitivity and risk, as well as build productive relationships with stakeholders will be crucial for success in this role.Provide high level professional and financial advice to senior managersConduct independent analytical reviews, forecasts and advice regarding budgetary and financial issuesUndertake continuous improvement initiatives and analysis designed to monitor divisional financial performance and governanceDevelop strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholdersFoster an environment that values performance, customer service, equity and fairness, continuous improvement and innovationWhat you bring:The ideal candidate for the AO5 Finance Business Partner role will bring proven experience in delivering financial information and advice that aligns with the strategic objectives of the organisation. You will have demonstrated experience in preparing, reviewing and submitting management accounting and advisory services to a high standard. Your ability to navigate complex environments, understand areas of political sensitivity and risk, as well as build productive relationships with stakeholders will set you apart.
