About the role:
The main purpose of a Business Development Director (BDD) is to be the main interface for existing and new customers. They apply value selling to grow the service business in a profitable way for the customers and the company in a win-win situation based on deep knowledge of customer operations and needs. This role is responsible for all Key Accounts together with their team in the ANZ Textile Care & Professional Hygiene industries.
What will you do:
Lead customer relationship from a service perspective through a structured communication approach.
Lead technical engineering & chemicals implementation and follow-up in alignment with customers and a Service Key Account Management (SKAM) team.
Lead creation and quality plans and participate in implementation and follow-up of targets (WECO – Water, Energy, Chemicals, Operations) per Key Account in line with customer and SKAM team.
Lead opportunity management, cross selling, up selling, fact-based value proposal, negotiate and close deals.
Lead growth of profitable service contracts.
Identify sales opportunities, create technical solutions, fact-based value proposal, negotiate and close deals, and drive growth of profitable service contracts.
Participate in follow-up value delivered, customer satisfaction, and profitability on service business with customer and internally.
Manage internal interfaces and customer to assure efficient delivery of service and quality account plans.
Participate in resolution of technical issues by being responsible for communication with customer and issue driver.
Lead services dimension in project lifecycle management to ensure new equipment is effectively handed over to services.
Which skills are required:
Master's degree in marketing and/or Business Administration qualification together with a Chemical experience is a plus or any related fields.
At least 5 years of proven experience in chemicals engineering management in the Textile Care and/or Professional Hygiene Industry.
Project management experience, deep understanding of maintenance challenges in the Textile Care and/or Professional Hygiene Industry.
Experience in Customer relationship management, technology industries, and sales & marketing experience will be an asset.
Strong people skills, conflict management skills, customer orientation, proactivity, adaptability, team player, organized and strategic thinking.
