Job Description Industry/ Organization Type: Marine Spare Parts & Machinery Stockist Position Title: Marine Service Manager Working Location: West – Gul Circle Working Hours: 5.5 days (Mon-Fri: 8 am-6 pm, every Sat: 8 am-1 pm) Salary Package: Up to SGD 7000 + Bonus + On-site allowance Duration: Permanent Key Responsibilities Lead a team of Service Engineers & Technicians and supervise the overhauling & commissioning of Engine & other auxiliary equipment. Work in Anchorage, Off-port limits, shipyard, and onboard vessels for voyage repair. Collaborate with contractors for jobs that must be outsourced. Prepare service and calibration reports of the work activities. Advise and recommend to the Technical Superintendent and Chief Engineer on faults/defects and operation of the machinery in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications. Provide technical support and deliver high-quality service standards to satisfy customers. Conduct risk assessments for each service and observe safe work practices and regulations onboard vessels & in the workshop. Conduct daily toolbox meetings. Responsible for continual improvement in the Service Department. Minimum Requirements Min. Diploma in Marine or Mechanical Engineering. Min. 5 years of working experience in the Marine industry. Hands-on experience with 2 & 4 stroke engines, purifiers, pumps, and air compressors. Those with sailing experience are welcome. Highly organized individual capable of working with tight schedules to accommodate the varying arrival times of ships.
