Foster and Kinship Engagement and Retention Worker $37p/h + superannuation + salary sacrifice

About the role:
We are currently seeking a Foster and Kinship Engagement and Retention Worker to join our team in Rockhampton.
They will promote the services of Foster and Kinship Care in Central Queensland and support carers through their journey while caring for young people in out of home care.
What will a typical day look like?
Assist with the development, implementation, and evaluation of a Community Awareness Strategy.
Design and coordinate Foster and Kinship carer events.
Assist with the organisation's participation in events for target groups to increase the profile of Foster Care.
This includes promotional days, education sessions, training, engagement activities and information sessions.
Work closely with the Foster, Kinship and Intensive Care team to ensure that the impact of any campaign/event is addressed at the planning stages.
Mandatory Requirements:
Certificate IV Community Development, Social/Behavioural Science, Social Work/Planning, or a related discipline What you will bring to the role:
A passion and genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of Central Queenslanders.
Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with a variety of stakeholders.
The ability to identify and embed solutions.
Demonstrated experience working within a high-performance framework where you are accountable for KPIs on program delivery and outcomes, within a fast-paced solutions-focused environment.
Effective time management and organisational skills.
A strong communicator, able to quickly build rapport and influence across a diverse range of people.
Other Requirements:
