Android Developer

As an Android Developer, you will be responsible for developing new applications and/or enhancements for our Android platform using Android Studio. Your role will involve developing scalable and efficient Android-based apps and enhancements and ensuring the stability and security of the overall architecture. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs while adhering to best practices.
Mandatory Requirement Government Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain baseline government or NV-1 clearance.
Citizenship Requirement: Must be an Australian citizen to be eligible for this role.
5+ years of experience in Android development using Android Studio.Proven software development experience and Android skills development.Experience with Android SDK.Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON.Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.Hands-on experience working within agile development environments.Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail, along with an ability to resolve technical issues.Desired Attributes and Skills: Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies.Experience working in government or public sector environments.Knowledge of secure coding practices and back-end security measures.
