ROLE This exciting career opportunity is open to both graduates and experienced Analytical Chemists! Full training on the use of analytical equipment will be provided. The role offers flexible start times between 7 am and 9 am, with corresponding finish times between 3 pm and 5 pm. Offered as a 12-month contract to cover maternity leave, this position has no view to permanency. However, you will benefit from a comprehensive induction program and training led by highly experienced scientists.
The person in this role will be responsible for conducting chemical and electrical analyses of insulating media from various sources, as well as related equipment. Key responsibilities include:
Quality control of products Operation of GC-Headspace for analysis Testing insulating oils using UPLC Conducting physical tests, such as evaluating oil color and appearance Assisting in the development and implementation of new testing methodologies Calibrating and maintaining equipment to meet quality accreditation standards Providing accurate and timely data reports for analysis by various stakeholders SELECTION CRITERIA We are looking for a team player who is motivated, flexible, and shows initiative. To be shortlisted for this exciting opportunity, you will need to meet the following criteria:
