The Role
Assist in managing IFM Investors Investment Funds and Mandates, and IFM Investors Management companies, under the direction of the Director, Transaction Management & Support. Responsibilities include reconciliations, custodial interactions, transaction processing, corporate actions, and trade settlements across listed equity assets. Support the Transaction Management & Support team with client transitions, counterparties, custodians, and team projects. Participate in Global Operations team initiatives and continuously assess and document operational processes for best practices, efficiency, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Ensure timely and accurate settlement of trades across listed equity asset classes, coordinating with brokers and custodians to resolve any discrepancies. Provide clear and precise instructions to custodians regarding trade settlements, corporate actions, and other transactions to ensure smooth processing. Input and reconcile data for various IFM Investors Funds and Mandates, ensuring accuracy and consistency in financial records. Perform regular reconciliations of bank accounts, holdings, and other financial records to maintain accurate and up-to-date information. Assist in the onboarding process for new clients and custodians, ensuring a seamless transition and integration into existing systems and processes. Handle the processing of corporate actions such as dividends, mergers, and stock splits, and participate in team projects to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness. Your Background and Experience Minimum of 2 years' experience in operations-related roles. Strong understanding of listed equities and corporate actions. Hands-on experience with reconciliations, trade processing, corporate actions, and settlements. Tertiary qualifications in commerce, economics, finance, or a related field, with post-graduate qualifications or currently pursuing them. Familiarity with IFM Investors' products and services, and comprehensive understanding of all IFM asset classes. Extensive financial and market knowledge, with excellent problem-solving, analytical, numeric, and communication skills. Ready to invest in what matters?
