Our Client, a Tier 1 Iron Ore Producer based in the Pilbara, is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Analyst to join their Specialist Procurement Team, to assist in the Perth CBD Offices.
Working within a large Sustaining Capital & Procurement Team, you will be undertaking Analytical duties to assist with Procurement decision making across the organisation; ensuring that you will always have many interesting moving parts at once.Utilising your polished research skills; you would be responsible for assisting with the development & establishment of procurement intelligence, from a range of data sources, through market research, business analysis, cost modelling, reporting & performance analysis to inform procurement decisions.This is a pure Analytical role; heavily leaning into research & communication of reporting for the Procurement team, this is not a role for Contracts/Supply/Procurement Advisors.KEY DUTIES:Engaging with Industry experts; procurement leads and the wider business to capture intelligence and translate to useful data;Identify and use the most appropriate analytical tools, techniques and systems to analyse and interpret a wide range of supplier and organisational information and develop reports, forecasts and advice to inform and support procurement planning & decision making;Compile and analyse statistical data using modern and traditional methods;Analyse historic pricing for data for Projects and related category contracts (utilising a customised internal system);Review Industry Estimating guidance, rates and extrapolate/normalise for Company brownfield projects;Establish a pricing data warehouse, suite of productivity metrics, category specific market intelligence;Technical in-data storage structures, data mining & data cleansing;Using a range of techniques to communicate analytical reports and insights meaningfully to internal procurement stakeholders;Training end-users on new reports & dashboards;Ability to collate, create & communicate findings.REQUIREMENTS:Previous experience (2 plus years) within an Analytical role; preferably within a Construction/Procurement environment.National Police Clearance (within 3 months).RTIO Inductions (Adv).If you possess a positive attitude, work well within a team & have great attention to detail, please apply now to be considered for the role immediately.
