Our opportunity As Analyst - Investments, you will be responsible for the production of timely, accurate and value adding portfolio information and assisting the Investments team with required analysis for all Retail, Office and Industrial assets and the broader market. Overall, assisting the Investments team to maximise return to Mirvac within acceptable risk parameters.
This position is a 12 month maximum term opportunity.
Working with the Investment team, Portfolio Managers (PMs), Development Managers (DMs), Finance and other internal stakeholders to:
Produce timely and accurate submission of all reporting in line with Divisional & Group deadlinesAssist in completing all internal valuations and reconciliation of external valuations for sign off in line with Group reporting deadlinesCo-ordinate external valuation process for nominated assets as requiredWork with the Finance team and PMs to achieve agreed segment financial objectives by monitoring asset and segment budgets & analysing variancesUpdate Quarterly reporting Blackbook, assessing the operational performance of the Investments portfolio including leasing, occupancy and development analysisAssist in the preparation of Quarterly, Annual and Half Yearly reports, the Property Compendium and related communications, papers, presentations and associated Q&A messaging analysis on market disclosureAssist with audit queries and answer submissionsAnalyse Mirvac Property Trust performance relative to peersAssist in analysis of broker, investor and internal queries as requiredWork to improve current reporting processes and outputsWorking with Investments team and Asset Management to:
Update asset models as requiredProduce sensitivity and scenario analysis to test changes to key assumptions, key leasing deals, houseviews and development impacts on both passive and development asset returns as requiredAssess leasing, property acquisitions and divestments when requiredAssist in adhoc analysis as requiredAssist in the review of portfolio data across NOI, Capex and Incentives.Your point of difference To be successful you will have:
Tertiary qualifications in property, valuations or similar business degree preferred with experience in a medium to large real estate organisations, preferably with exposure to the retail or office sectorDemonstrated financial modelling skillsMRI SP modelling experience preferred but not essentialGood communication skills, with the ability to communicate and interact positively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholdersAll of these attributes are preferred, if you think you may be the right fit for the role please still apply.
