The Investment and Commissioning Branch, as part of the Strategy Division, supports the design and delivery of contemporary placement and support services for children and young people.
The Commissioning Oversight team, within the Investment and Commissioning Branch, supports the strategic direction of the branch through intelligence and performance tracking.
The purpose of this position is to work as part of the team responsible for data and analytics relating to investment and commissioning activities across the department.
You will work with existing programs and strategies and support the design, development, and implementation of new solutions to managing and tracking service delivery and expenditure to ensure the department achieves desired outcomes in the provision of child protection services.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
You will have responsibility for leading the following activities and delivering the following tasks:
Participate in the development and maintenance of corporate information systems that provide accurate, reliable, and appropriate data to meet the requirements of decision makers, managers, and planners at departmental, state, and national levels.Review, evaluate, document, and update methodologies used within corporate information systems to ensure performance information and measures are relevant to the Department's national, corporate, and operational reporting requirements.Work within the department's information systems to ensure timelines, data accuracy, and efficiency of the processes.Participate in data quality activities, such as updating data in departmental information systems, to ensure it contains accurate information.Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and security of data required for reporting purposes.Assist in the preparation of reports, submissions, and briefings regarding complex performance measurement, monitoring, and reporting issues.Participate in the development of a work environment that values its people, honesty, and achievement, and which encourages commitment, skills development, and continuous improvement.Occupational group: Policy & Planning #J-18808-Ljbffr
