Advisory Partner Connect Pty Ltd – Brisbane QLDAdvisory Partner is a chartered accounting and advisory firm offering corporate finance services including business valuations, independent expert reports, mergers and acquisitions advisory, and strategic solutions.Advisory Partner is seeking a part-time analyst to join the corporate advisory team in the Brisbane office. This role is open for a highly motivated individual who is looking for hands-on experience in corporate finance. This role will be available 2-3 days per week and offers flexibility to accommodate study and other commitments. The successful candidate will be proactive and capable of independent problem-solving. You'll gain exposure to business valuations, financial modelling, due diligence, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic advisory for clients across multiple industries.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform financial analysis, including financial modelling and valuation work.Capable of understanding and applying different valuation methodologies.Analyse financial data to provide insights for advisory projects.Work on sell-side mandates assisting clients position their business for sale.Assist preparing client presentations and reports for transactions including information memorandums.Support in conducting due diligence and market research for corporate finance transactions.Collaborate with other analysts and director to deliver high-quality outcomes.About YouDegree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (or working towards one).Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial modelling.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to problem solve independently and in a team environment.A keen interest in corporate finance with a desire to learn and adapt.
