As we find new ways to connect rural communities with food, animal feed and industrial customers around the world, we are proud to say we're leading the way in sustainable agriculture.About the roleReporting to the Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis, this role sits as part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team and provides financial, strategic, analytical and reporting support in connection with GrainCorp's core operating initiatives and targeted growth opportunities.Specifically, you will:Labour forecastingBalance sheet and cashflow preparation and consolidationDesign, develop, implement and maintain flexible financial modelsSupport commercial finance and business leaders in developing and providing financial analysis, insights and reporting in connection with our core operating initiativesPrepare presentations, briefs/cases and plans to support identification and development of opportunitiesSupport adhoc business modelling and analysis for senior finance and business leadersAssess and maintain a database of key business drivers and rate assumptions to support reporting and modelling outcomesAssist in the development of financial analysis and modelling capability across finance.About your experienceOur ideal candidate is tertiary qualified in finance (CA/CPA), or a related discipline and has demonstrated skills and experience in financial analysis / modelling / planning along with:Independent skills to research and to access internal & external informationStrong commercial acumen with attention to detailUnderstanding of financial statements (Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet & Cash Flow Statements)Problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to develop innovative and practical solutions* please note this role is titled "Senior Analyst" internallyReady to apply? / How do you apply?The next steps are easy!
