SASH North Ryde was established in 2007 and is located 15 minutes north of Sydney's CBD, in New South Wales (NSW), Australia.
SASH now has four, soon to be five, hospitals in NSW with additional hospitals in South Australia and Queensland.

SASH North Ryde has in-house laboratory facilities, pathology, a 128 slice CT, endoscopy, laparoscopy, digital radiography, fluoroscopy, 1.5T MRI, ultrasound, dialysis, a linear accelerator with stereotactic capability and ultrasound dedicated for locoregional techniques.
SASH North Ryde has 6 theatres supporting soft tissue, orthopaedic, interventional, neurological, ophthalmic and cardiology services and a state-of-the-art ICU with 6 dedicated criticalist's for assistance with our most critical patients.
SASH has 9 anaesthesia and analgesia specialists across its hospitals with four based at North Ryde.
Along with our team of anaesthetists (including anaesthesia intern and nurses) you will work collaboratively with specialists in internal medicine, surgery, medical and radiation oncology, cardiology, ophthalmology, neurology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, avian and exotics, emergency and critical care and sports medicine and rehabilitation.

We have both a permanent position, along with a 12 month, fixed term contract available.
We would also consider candidates who would like to work for shorter periods of time throughout the year.
There will be opportunities to work at other hospitals in the SASH network, if desired.
The position will be well supported by our experienced nurses with collaboration from on-site critical care.
You will work in a growing multidisciplinary setting, drawing on the knowledge and experience provided through our extensive network of SASH specialists, supporting you to achieve the best results for your patients.
To be considered for this position, we are looking for: A board certified anaesthetist of the American, European or Australian colleges (DACVAA, DECVAA, FANZCVS).
Holding one of these qualifications means that regardless of where your undergraduate degree is from, you are eligible to work as a vet in NSW.
Candidates who have completed an approved residency program in anaesthesia, who are yet to finalise exams are also strongly encouraged to apply.
