About the Role: Kilmore District Hospital is seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Maternity Unit Manager (AMUM) to join our team on a fixed-term basis. The AMUM will support the Maternity Unit in providing high-quality care to women and newborns, ensuring a positive and safe environment for patients and staff. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work alongside a passionate team and contribute to the ongoing development of maternity services.
Key Responsibilities: Assist in the leadership and management of the Maternity Unit, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care.Coordinate staff schedules, assist in training, and provide support for clinical staff.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional maternity services.Oversee daily operations of the maternity ward, ensuring compliance with hospital policies and procedures.Monitor patient outcomes and report key data to senior management.Provide a supportive environment for both patients and staff, fostering a culture of care and safety.Skills and Qualifications: Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.Minimum of 3 years' experience working in maternity care.Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role is highly desirable.Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.Why Join Kilmore District Hospital?
