As a Solution Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and guiding the technical design and implementation of solutions to meet organizational needs. You will provide expert advice on best practices for solution design and lead the creation of technical designs that adhere to established reference solutions and enterprise architecture principles. Your work will involve developing detailed designs and system specifications that align with both solution architecture and the industry and organizational standards.
My client is looking for multiple areas of expertise including: Cyber Security, On-prem hardware, Azure, Cloud, SharePoint, Co-Pilot, M365, network and integration.
Roles and Responsibilities: Strategic Planning: Develop and maintain the strategic direction for underpinning technologies to support modern capabilities and future-proof ICT infrastructure. Championing Technologies: Advocate for the adoption and enhancement of ICT platforms and services, driving their effective use and integration. Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with senior technical partners to ensure alignment and collaboration on technology initiatives. Resource Allocation: Participate in the allocation of resources to ensure the successful delivery of services and projects. Technical Design: Lead the design and configuration of platforms and services to meet specific customer requirements, ensuring optimal performance and scalability. Operational Monitoring: Oversee the effective operation of platforms and services, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards. Development of Technical Patterns: Drive the creation and adoption of technical patterns to ensure consistent and reliable solution delivery. Consultation and Support: Provide expert advice and consultation to support ICT operations and vendor performance, particularly during escalations. Risk Management: Engage in ICT risk management activities to identify and address operational and technology risks. Financial Management: Contribute to the financial oversight of platform and service budgets and projects, ensuring cost-effective and efficient use of resources. Qualifications:
