We are seeking a full time (12 months fixed-term) Ambulance Attendant to operate from Shepparton Branch. About the role Working from Monday to Friday between 8am – 8pm on either an 8 or 10 hour shifts (location dependent), Ambulance Attendants provide effective and efficient care and transport to non-emergency pre and post hospital patients. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Respond to all cases in a timely manner Provide appropriate patient assessment, care, and transport, in accordance with applicable regulations Complete Patient Care Records and other relevant documentation in an accurate manner Provide effective patient handover to hospital staff/patient relatives About you To be considered for this position you will have: Diploma of Emergency Health Care or equivalent including (Qualified Ambulance Paramedic, Diploma of Emergency Health Care, Bachelor of Health Science, Paramedicine Degree) 400 hours of on road supervised clinical practice completed within a two-year period Current Victorian driver license Demonstrated understanding of Scope of Practice/Clinical Practice Guidelines for the role you are applying for Working at Ambulance Victoria As a valued member of AV you will enjoy a professional working environment that recognises the importance of work/life balance.
