Job DescriptionFull-time, ongoing positionHours of work - Monday to Friday, between the hours of 8am and 5pm (some occasional weekend or after hours work may be required)Salary - $90,000 plus superannuationThe Alumni and Events Coordinator role is based in the Development Department at Ballarat Grammar. The Development Department is responsible for:
Nurturing positive and engaging relationships with alumni, donors and the broader Ballarat Grammar community,Supporting the overall student experience by promoting the School, coordinating fundraising activities and seeking opportunities for advancement,Building a community of long-term supporters who continue to contribute to the learning environment,Maintain and build relationships with past and present students, staff and families to enhance the School experience and create a sense of belonging.The Alumni and Events Co-ordinator will contribute to the delivery of an Engagement Strategy that builds and sustains affinity and connection with the School. It is a key role within the Development team, often operating as the first point of contact for alumni (Old Grammarians) and community supporters, including donors. The position will be responsible for coordinating engagement activities at the School and across Australia, such as alumni events (reunions), Annual Giving campaigns and mentoring opportunities. In addition, the role will have a strong relationship management focus with the maintenance of Old Grammarian information and databases.
Understanding of general marketing and communication principles, including social media. Demonstrated experience in event management.Strong time management skills, with the initiative and ability to self-manage and set priorities to meet deadlines.Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.Strong integrity and trustworthy when dealing with confidential and sensitive information and issues.As a Child Safe Organisation, employment with Ballarat Grammar is subject to current and satisfactory:
