As part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering high quality mental health services, the Allied Health Professional:
Undertakes the delivery of quality care to clients of Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) based on best practice principles.Provides a specialist assessment and treatment service to clients of CAMHS and their families or carers.Promotes community awareness in relation to mental health and acts as a consultant to other agencies.The Role: Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through assessment, case management, and individual therapies.Provide evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems.Function as an active member of a multi-disciplinary team.Prepare specialised reports as required.Consult and liaise with the broader health system to optimise service effectiveness and continuity of care.CAMHS North Team: Join a dynamic multidisciplinary team.Professional development and supervision available.Permanent role - Relocation assistance may be available for the right applicant.Details of appointment: Permanent, fixed term, full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible.
Salary: $110,425 to $123,703 per annum + Employer 11.5% superannuation contribution.
Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022.Benefits available to eligible candidates:
Travel and relocation assistance support available up to $15,000 for eligible appointees from overseas.Professional development and accelerated pathways.Excellent leave benefits: 20 days annual leave (pro rata), 20 days personal leave (pro rata).Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria:
