About the roleWe are seeking compassionate, conscientious, and motivated Allied Health Assistants to work within our Care Kids Squared brand. At Care Squared Kids, you must be able to provide education and support to our customers and NDIS participants, inclusive of evidence-based assessment and intervention. It is important that you display exceptional communication and time management skills and be able to work autonomously as well as part of a multi and transdisciplinary allied health team.Amongst your desired caseload you will: Manage your day-to-day client activities to support positive outcomes for your clients and their familiesProvide client-driven, evidence-based therapy services to clients in their home and community environments, focusing on their personal goal attainmentProvide therapy services either individually or as a member of an interdisciplinary teamLiaise with external stakeholders, such as other health professionals, NDIA-related entities, family members, educational staff, and community members, to provide individualised support plansAbout youIn order to thrive in this role, it's essential that you have: Currently studying a Speech Pathology degree or have previous experience working as an Allied Health Assistant in the Speech and Language spaceA passion for supporting people to maximise their independence and realise their full potentialA high level of verbal, written communication and computer literacy skillsA valid driver's licence with access to your own vehicleA willingness to complete criminal record and working with children check (or state equivalent)A willingness to complete a working with vulnerable people check (or state equivalent)What we offerIt's our people-centric health, wellbeing and development initiatives that separate us from the rest.
