To assist Allied Health Professionals (AHP) in the provision of patient care in the Acute ward, Residential Care Facility, Outpatients, Gym and in the community, and provide support, information and advice to clients on a range of social welfare matters
Allied Health AssistantWe are seeking a caring and dedicated Allied Health Assistant to provide support to our team of Allied Health Professionals. In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Provide therapy to individual clients as delegated or under supervision of Allied Health ProfessionalsComplete standardized assessments as delegated and within your competence levelConduct group therapy programs under the guidance of Allied Health Professionals, monitoring client responses and adjusting programs to meet client needsFollow therapist directions, provide timely feedback on interventions, and accurately record clinical notesMaintain equipment by performing safety checks, organizing maintenance, monitoring client loans, and ensuring appropriate invoicingMonitor and order clinical supplies and equipment, sourcing suppliers and specialists items as neededProvide administrative support such as maintaining client education materials, treatment room supplies, patient area tidiness, statistics, and auditsComplete Allied Health Assistant Core Competencies within first six months and participate in continuing educationIf you are passionate about healthcare and excited to learn and grow alongside our talented therapy team, we encourage you to apply.
