Allied Health Assistant

We are currently seeking enthusiastic Allied Health Assistants to join our team on a casual basis. Candidate should be available to work across our weekday and weekend services.
As an Allied Health Assistant your responsibilities will include: Supporting members of the Allied Health team to provide a high standard of customer service and clinical care to patients/families Working under the direction and supervision of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and speech pathologists to help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals As one of the largest private rehabilitation facilities in Australia, The Victorian Rehabilitation Centre has a reputation for high quality and patient-focused care, across a range of rehabilitation specialties, including orthopaedics, cardiac, reconditioning, neurology, trauma, and pain management. The centre offers a friendly and supportive staff environment, with our established multidisciplinary team servicing both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Selection Criteria: Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines, manage time effectively and complete activities Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Experience working with or providing care to people in a health care setting and/or demonstrate a basic understanding of therapy programs Applications close: 22 nd July 20204
