Programmed are currently seeking all-rounder concrete labourers for an exciting large scale project based locally in Townsville. An attractive hourly rate + penalties is on offer with overtime available daily. Multiple positions available below but not limited to:
Previous concrete/construction industry experience would be ideal
Labouring will include fitting moulds prior to pour, cutting concrete, patching on final product, pulling pre and post tensioning materials
Fixed Plant Machinery Operation involving feeding in reo to be crimped
Welding to Steel Fixing will include Mig and tack welding on reo bars and form cages
Batch Plant Operator will include monitoring stock levels, mixing product with automated system with computer experience needed
Mobile Machine Operation will include use of Forklift and Front end loader to attend to sumps and transport products around yard
What we need from you:
Previous concrete/construction industry experience would be ideal
Experience working with power and hand tools
Your commitment to being reliable and punctual on-site daily
To have a great work ethic and to be a part of an awesome team
Strong commitment and actively contributing to workplace safety and working safely around others
Mandatory requirement:
Ability to pass pre-employment medical including drug and alcohol testing - no cost to employee
