The Role:
As the Project Manager, you will be expected to assist the wider project team in the effective management of all phases of projects up to $5M, from initial establishment to handover and project closure.
The role requires technical knowledge and will require the use of Akron's job management systems, processes, policies and technology with the support of the projects team to deliver exceptional outcomes for Akron and our clients.
An Overview of the role:
Assist in the pricing of future tenders including obtaining all pricing from subcontractors and suppliers.
Assist in creating and maintaining a detailed project programme and methodology which outlines clear milestones, hold points, and objectives to ensure successful project delivery.
Conduct daily site checks and co-ordinate with all employees and subcontractors.
Liaise with the client and other stakeholders to attend both on-site and off-site meetings when required.
Conduct contract administration professionally and in accordance with specified legal requirements.
Maintain Akron OH&S, environmental and quality standards across the assigned site.
Participate in project close out, including invoicing and required contractual documents for submission to the client.
Build and sustain positive relationships with stakeholders and liaise with multiple organisational levels.
Skills/Experience:
Degree in Project or Construction Management related discipline or a combination of formal education and experience exceeding 2 years in a field related to design, engineering, construction or project management.
Be a self-starter capable of working without direction or micro-management.
Be able to multi-task effectively.
Be well presented and an effective communicator.
Have a white card or be willing to obtain one.
Have a valid NT drivers licence.
