The Exciting Opportunity & Training:
We are currently recruiting Trainee Aviation Rescue Fire Fighters for our Mackay , Hamilton Island , and Whitsunday Coast stations.
This is an excellent opportunity to start a new career as a first responder within the Aviation industry.
You will earn while you learn as the first 11 weeks of your employment will be conducted out of our training facility in Melbourne (Accommodation provided).
You will then spend the next 4 weeks finishing your qualification at station.
Upon completion of the training, you will then commence in your role on station.
You can expect to be involved in:
Provide critical first response rescue and first-aid services in emergency situations Offer expert fire safety advice Educate on firefighting techniques Tackle emergencies, from aircraft incidents to fires Embrace both physical and mental challenges, with a roster system that ensures a healthy work-life balance.
Ongoing training and development Certification
PUA20622 Certificate II in Public Safety (Fire Fighting and Emergency Operations)
Awarded by our Registered Training Organisation (RTO 5168)
Entry Standards
To be considered for this role candidates must:
Hold a current Australian Driver's license Hold a minimum grade 10 high school certificate Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen or permanent resident What to expect
