SLR has an existing team of 15 air quality consultants across the east coast of Australia that you will be working with to deliver projects and grow the business.
We work on a wide variety of interesting projects including impact assessments, management plans, ambient monitoring, GHG reporting amongst others.
These projects span Australia, New Zealand, PNG and the Pacific Islands.
We are looking to grow our team in Adelaide and are looking for the right individual to join and help us deliver some exciting work in 2025.
As culture is everything to us, we are open to talking to Air Quality Consultants from a graduate level to senior/associate level to complement our team.
Key Responsibilities
You will slot in seamlessly to our Air Quality team in Australia, as we aim to grow our footprint across APAC!
Assist the team in preparing inputs for air quality and greenhouse gas assessment reports.Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders to grow our offering in Air Quality.Prepare proposals, budget estimates, project manage and inputs for tenders.Assist, supervise or conduct laboratory and field works including ambient air quality monitoring and emission source sampling.Conduct air dispersion modelling and risk assessments.Prepare technical reports related to qualitative and detailed air quality assessments for a variety of projects.Collaborate with Australian and New Zealand SLR staff on a range of Air Quality and multidiscipline projects.Work within local regulations and with local regulators to deliver the above.Skills and experience
You will be highly organised with excellent attention to detail and love getting things done to a very high standard.
You are self-driven and comfortable with processes, whilst still being an excellent people person with a high level of client service.
Ideally, you would possess the following:
University qualifications (bachelor's degree or higher) in Environmental Science or a related field.Up to 5 years' experience as an Air Quality specialist.
Consulting environment highly desirable.Understanding of the local regulatory environment and best practice air quality assessments methods and analysis.Strong written and verbal communications skills.Attention to detail and accuracy.Be able to work independently with support from the wider SLR Air Quality team based across Australia and other SLR disciplines as required.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.Our Benefits
