Agriculture Technician/Diesel Motor Mechanic

Job Title: Full-time Agriculture Technician/Diesel Motor MechanicWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team at Arkle Farms, a major farming enterprise based in Western Australia.
About Us:Arkle Farms is a family-owned business that operates a mixed farming enterprise comprising broadacre cropping, an Angus stud, and a commercial sheep flock across four farms. Our philosophy is to build a highly sustainable and productive farming enterprise using regenerative farming techniques.
Job Summary:This role involves providing technical support for our farm operations, including preventative and reactive maintenance of machinery, diagnosis and repair of diesel engines and mechanical parts, and management of equipment and building maintenance.
Responsibilities:Plan, coordinate, and execute preventative and reactive maintenance tasksDiagnose and repair machinery in a timely mannerAssist with the installation and relocation of associated equipmentManage general repair and maintenance of equipment and building as requiredPerform preventative maintenance tasks on a regular basisDetermine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance jobsMaintain an efficient and up-to-date data recording systemRequirements:Hands-on experience and commitment to the roleSUCCESSFUL COMPLETION OF AN APPROPRIATE DIESEL/TRACTOR MECHANIC TRADEProven post-qualification experience in a similar role or ability to adapt and display skills requiredProven ability and willingness to work as part of a teamAbility to work autonomously, without supervisionTechnical skill set across a variety of engineering competencies (Welding, Fabrication etc)Salary:$75,000 - $80,000 per year
