Due to continued growth, WesTrac is currently seeking skilled Agricultural Mechanics, Heavy Diesel Mechanics and Plant Mechanics to join our Wagga Wagga Workshop!
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, our Mechanics are responsible for performing repairs and routine maintenance on Caterpillar equipment. With an average output of 15 machines a month, this role will see you providing support to our general construction and mining customers throughout the region. Focusing on safety and continuous improvement, a role with WesTrac will give you exposure to machine rebuilds, component overhauls and in-depth diagnostics.

What we're looking for Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or Mechanical trade qualification with heavy industry experience.Experience rebuilding mobile mining equipment and/or componentsSolutions-focused mindset and ability to adapt to changing requirementsDemonstrated written and verbal communication skillsUnrestricted Drivers LicenceClose attention to detail and ability to perform tasks to meet Caterpillar quality standardsTeam-oriented with proven ability to meet set deadlinesAs one of the World's leading Caterpillar dealers, WesTrac services a broad range of customers across NSW, ACT & WA.
