Workshop Mechanic - Bathurst Due to continued growth, WesTrac is seeking experienced Agricultural Mechanics, Heavy Diesel Mechanics & Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our Bathurst Workshop!
Reporting to the Workshop Supervisor, a Mechanic role with WesTrac will see you completing maintenance, repairs, and complete overhauls on an array of CAT equipment from Wheel Tractor-Scrapers through to R3000 Series Loaders. This role will see you joining a high performing team that focuses on customer satisfaction, technician productivity, efficiency, and safety.
A Mechanic position with WesTrac will enable you to further develop your diagnostic skills and open the door to opportunities within our Field Service team.
Rosters & Remuneration 5 Days On, 2 Days Off - 10.5 hour shifts Overtime available Potential earnings from $113,000 - $140,000 *Above rates are a guide; each candidate will be assessed on skill and experience*
Skills & Experience Mechanical trade qualification (Cert III Mobile Plant Technology preferred) Caterpillar product knowledge Strong organisational skills with the ability to work autonomously Strong commitment to meeting customer requirements and providing service excellence Dedication to maintaining safe work practices and environment Experience with DBS & SIS is desirable Why WesTrac?
